Steam to engine problems

Ok, so I made a steam boiler. It's fueled by blaze rods, and is currently full of steam.Ive made 9 industrial steam engines, connected liquiducts to them from the boiler but the engines won't take in any steam. I've tried every combination of the pipes using the crescent hammer so they accept the steam. The pipes fill with steam but nothing exits the pipes, and I've tried inputting steam into every side of the engines. I've even tried buildcraft pipes and got the same thing. Can anyone help? I currently have a power problem and have spent awhile making all the steel and it doesn't work so I'm a bit frustrated.

If it helps any, I'm using the direwolf20 pack.

If screen shots are really necessary, ill get pack on, but I hate losing power.

Have you got levers turning the engines on? If I remember right until they are turned on the steam will not go in the engine.

Don't feel bad, everyone makes mistakes. That's why they invented Erasers.

Plus, I can think of plenty of things you likely didn't try. Not good things to do, but things you didn't do.
