Hmmm, I do need to half my costs because again, I'm not macerating... But I'm still over 4 billion eu for anything that's required.[DOUBLEPOST=1355537014][/DOUBLEPOST]*updated

Blocks: 4,499,999,820 eu
Rotor: 2,062,499,917.5 eu
Total Construction: 7,229,166,377.5 eu

That's for 1 complete turbine using uu mater to create ore, then macerating it.

Decided to setup a boiler > turbine
So far, 128 buckets of biofuel to reach 200c.... High pressure has one hell of an expensive startup cost.

Undoubtedly the start up is expensive which is why you'll want to use HP boilers for permanent systems and LP boilers for temporary systems. That said, the system produces more than enough power to keep itself and another boiler constantly supplied with biofuel from fermenters and stills, as well as power the farm equipment needed.

I am sorry, you are comparing apples to pears.

You should take the basic energy value items have in vanilla to compare the energy items in mod have. I personally stick to the transformers mod, even though it works without any lose. i personally think, transforming something into something different should always be a bit of a cost. High end tiers could prop. be at zero cost.

transformers mod 1.10 ratio explained said:
A steam engine produces 1600 MJ from one coal.
A generator produces 4000 EU from one coal.
Default conversion rate is based off this, so that's MJ : EU as 2 : 5, however you can edit that in the config.
This does mess up geothermals vs lava in combustion engines, as 1 bucket in a geothermal creates 20000 EU, and 1 bucket in a combustion creates 20000 MJ.
Therefore this mod does nerf lava in combustion engines.
