I have never seen this kind of spam before and i was wondering if anyone on here could figure it out its not a problem so much as annoying.
ftb unleashed 1.1.4
So my console says:
[stdout] Side: 2

Any ideas why i would love it btw thats all it says there isnt any long boring errors

It just means one of mods is outputting some debug information, it's quite common. If you can figure out which mod is causing it, you could bug the mod dev and tell him you are sick of him spamming your console xD. But there's not really much you can do, even if the problem is patched, you would need to wait for the new version to enter a FTB pack.

oh yea well i have suspicions it is ae but i cant remember what i did right before this started popping up glad it doesnt save in the log XD it would be like 3gig by now

I don't want to let this go. i finally found the some info. but i need to know whats it means. The "[INFO] [STDOUT] Side: 2" goes on forever about 10 to 15 messages each second. and seriously slows down the server.

I'm wondering what this means "[INFO] [STDOUT] Transforming ls using ls !test!"

btw the side 2 was answered in a previous post. Its from a force infuser being injected items. So go around removing force infusers untill you find the one that is being injected items (normally from Thermal Expansion blocks)

wow really the force infuser....... never thought that putting it next to my liquid transposer was doing that thanks for that

If you run your server on Linux (or have Cygwin installed on windows -- recommended) then you have a plethora of commands to look at files to hunt down things.

Unless you have the source to the mods, which would be easier:

find <path> -iname '*.java' -print | xargs grep <expression>

eg

find . -iname '*.java' -print | xargs grep "Side:"

Without source, you can use strings to get an idea of where these static data are in the .class or .jar files:

find . -iname '*.jar' -print | xargs strings -f | grep "Side:"

or both kinds:

find . '(' -iname '*.jar' -o -iname '*.class' ')' -print | xargs strings -f | grep "Side:"
