Starting fresh..

Hey me and a friend are going to be starting a brand new adventure on one of these available packs.

The thing is I am very use to FTB Ultimate and ideally I want to play something similar if not exactly the same but on the latest current version.

I notice the new packs don't have Redpower which is a massive change but can any recommend a mod pack that is pretty much FTB Ultimate minus Redpower obviously?

Unleashed is the Ultimate pack, more or less, alternatively there's Feed the Greg Unhinged, but it's not really much like Ultimate at all.

Anything you try is going to be effort.

Unleashed is going to jar you, if you're used to GregTech, and the associated bits with that. You can add it in, but then you need to make the change on clients and servers, plus any configs that need to be distributed.

Unhinged is going to be a change just for the mods that are missing, but it's minecraft as Greg sees it.


Personally, I'd probably go with Unleashed, and add in GregTech if needed, but that's my opinion coloured by my preferences.
