Staff to Member communication on the forums seems lacking

From a outside perspective seems like the Information that once flowed so freely on the forum concerning up dates and general information concerning FTB (like where its going even if its ideas just getting kicked around, or even just news that hasn't gone stale) has dried up. im sure this will fire up a flame war but I wanting to toss out my 2 cents

I disagree, there is plenty of information available to those that have the patience to look.
On another note, that is related to the thread title but not to the OP... I'm kinda miffed that instead of a thread that went off topic being simply locked, it was instead deleted entirely. Yeah it went off topic, but there was still a lot of good information in there for those that cared to read it. A straight delete, imo, was completely unnecassary.
