or, well, semi stable at least, ive been looking at making a dense ore age for a while, but i dont know the exact pages i would need, i know adding in instability does help, but i would like to know if anyone has a tried setup on ftb unleashed that i can use for my dense ore age.

Somewhere over the rainbow.
Dense ores is asking for troubles by default, there's nothing that you can do to avoid this, its a mechanic of Mystcraft that you can't control, when you add dense ores to a Mystcraft age, it will be unstable unless you disable instability in the configs, but that would be cheating...

There's ways to make a "stable" unstable age. By adding things like a cave modifier to it, you can add tons of meteors/charged or whatever instabilities to control what you're getting. Unless you cheat in a clear modifiers page at the end of the book, there's no way to make it absolutely stable.

AHAHAAHAHA.... ohh lol to make worlds unstable worlds stable is by adding more instability and dense ores, meteors, charged, molten fluids is one of them... UNLESS you used the configs and removed instability but that clearly your call, if your geedy and dont want to bungle on dense ores suggestion make a molten (metal) ocean age then pump them all out then... store them then use the smeltery to turn them to ingots I do suggest checking out more cells add on for AE so you can mass store fluids

PS: BC pump doesnt work on molten metal... I hope you have other fluid handling mods (Mekanism pump is rumored to work)

That's exactly what I did before in 1.5 and it worked fine. Occasionally Mystcraft adds some randomness to ages though, so someone might need to try a few times to get a "stable" mining cave world.

Just add a ton of symbols. As long as there aren't things like white instability or black instability etc... then the age is fine as long as it's a cave world.
