Hey guys, i really searched for quite some time, hopefully you can help me and I'm at the right place with my question.
I like to play FTB in SSP and open it to LAN to play with a friend.
Now we want to change the host and therefore have to change the player NTB data inside the level.dat or otherwise all the thaumcraft research and so an is transferred to the new host.
I used NTBexplorer to view the data, but it seems to be impossible to use copy/paste with that tool (or too much work manually).

tl tr:
Is there any good tool to copy the "player".dat into the level.dat ?

Want to know the same thing really. I fell into lava with a full backpack and pressed Esc at the last second and closed the game. I really wanted to keep my full backpack so i used NBTEditor to alter player.dat to give myself full health/creative mode etc. Alas upon joining my game I found out that I was actually suppose to change the level.dat file which overwrites player.dat. Luckily I made a copy of my old player.dat file and was hoping there'd be some way to copy my backpack inventory from there to level.dat. Any help would be great!

ps. i realize im being cheaty and should accept the consequences but dammit i don't want to.

@CyberWolf94 : It may be possible to have another player open that world as an OP, and open it to the LAN. Then stand in a lake/ocean. If you then login he/she might be able to teleport you to safety before you expire... Make sure he/she already has typed in the correct tp command.
Another opped player might also be able to set the KeepInventory gamerule before you log in.

Good luck!
