Jailer net works perfectly well I had an aquarium with 3x3x3 with the water only in the top 3x3x1 so it flows down and stops the stupid bloody things from suffocating themselves, lost a couple before I remembered my old slime drowner water skills.
Poor things shouldn't be black any longer with the amount of ink that has been sucked out of them for my Bio reactors, at last count it was around 25k ink sacs in my AE system while running 6 reactors, admittedly with a few other inputs to get the efficiency up but still. And yes 6 reactors does mean I am running 60 BioGens (love me some Xeno's lilypads and golem farms) though I am having a bit of trouble using the 1144 mj\t I'm producing from that, the 2 36LP boilers and the 10 Magmatics.

Ah pretty cool. Atm I'm trying to set it up that the Rancher only 'milks(?)' them when there's spots in the Bio Reactor available. But I don't think a Router will do as it only puts the ink sacs in the 1 item slot of the reactor, and then only the 1 slot of extra slots in the reactor. So I'm figuring stuff out. I'm gonna guess gates will be my best option atm.
You could try feeding the reactor from a second inventory (a chest\hopper\barrel) and having the router feed that, I haven't played around with routers too much I either use AE or pipes, AE because it is easy and effective, pipes because it's cool to watch things zip around.
