So a quick question that my head can't figure out.

I am using a Enderchest hooked up with 2 (left and right) wooden transport pipes, connected through some cobble transport pipes into two squeezers.

Now in the Enderchest I have force logs coming in, and what I want happening is that if there is space in a squeezer then pull some out basically and if there's no space, the redstone engines does nothing.

I have 4 iron OR gate's setup. The 2 I have onto my squeezers are set into: "Space in Inventory" -> "Red Pipe Signal".

Then I have some red wire's connected through the cobblestone pipes onto the Wooden transport pipes. Those wooden pipes also have 4 iron OR gate's and these are set to: "Red Pipe Signal On" -> "Redstone Signal". Under these Wooden pipes I have 2 redstone engines to start running when they recieve it.

Thing is, even though my squeezer is full, it still emits that Red Pipe signal saying basically that there's space for more logs, which there aren't.

So my head is kinda in a pickle here and I thought I'd ask if this is normal between Squeezers & gates or what I can do about it :)!

Because theres room left to put cans and can outputs >.>

try placing the gate on top only.

Alright I've placed the gates on top of the squeezer with still the same "Space in inventory" -> "Red Pipe Signal". But it still emits that pipe signal even though it's full.

You might try using Routers from Factorization. A Router with a Machine Filter upgrade and an Ejector upgrade can auto fill one squeezer. 2 routers could autofill any number of squeezers.

Same issue with gates on a coke oven. The space in inventory registers both input and output slots.

And how would I set this up, just the 2 routers next to the enderchest and put the Machine & Ejector upgrade onto it and then with pipes or?

Just place hopper on top of the squeezer and test for conditions on it. The most safe would be to only pump force logs if hopper is empty.

I keep forgetting about those super handy vanilla hoppers. Just put the hopper pointing down into the squeezer and the ender chest on the hopper. It will keep the squeezer full automatically with no spillage.

Hoppers autofill themselves from inventories above themselves.

Yeah I also saw that to late. Oh well I tried your way with routers attached to my ender chest and then the Sqeeuzers connected right to them and it works aswell. Bit more expansive but it works hehe :). But yeah I'll probably do more Hoppers next time :)! Thanks!

Yeah, the routers are really worth it if you are running like 10 squeezers. Then it is only the ender chest and the two routers supporting the bunch of them.
