Sponge not working with FTB

Title Sponge not working with FTB

Details of the issue so my server owner needs sponge to give us land claims and protection for our land on direwolf20 but when he adds it we get error log and the server goes down

we need land protection and /home so is there any way to make it work with sponge or is there a mod/plugin we can add?
