Spoils Bag Strangeness

This has really confused me at the moment, was hoping that someone could shed some light on this for me.

Basically, I've been playing on my regular Unleashed SSP World. I'm in the process of moving everything from my old house to my new underground base. After moving all my machines over, I turned my attention to my Peaceful Tables.

I dismantled and moved them, then started checking through all the Spoils Bags for any extra loot. Everything then seemed pretty well... Until I hit this.

This shocked me a fair bit.

Now, I've played FTB for a while, so I already know that DartCraft Spoils Bags should copy CHEST loot. And I should also know that UU-Matter and Uranium Ore don't appear in chests. Either that or I missed something in a recent update.

I'm running Unleashed 1.1.7, Open Blocks installed, and Power Converters and Vending Blocks enabled.

So, has this happened to anybody else? By what I've searched, nobody has ever had this unusual occurrence before. It's really confused me.

Oh thank god! I'm not the only one! Considering I normally deal with a sheer amount of them daily, this one seriously weirded me out.

So, does that mean that there are Chests out there that spawn with this loot (With what seems like a miniscule spawn chance) Or does the Spoils bag Rando-Generate some stuff from a list? If that's the case, then does that make Uranium renewable without Bees?

I'm not sure if it is a chest loot or just a dartcraft thing. I've never seen UU in a loot chest. This is the primary reason most of my friends consider dartcraft to be overpowered. I however love that it makes FTB possible on superflat or skyblock.

Yeah. Dartcraft is overpowered. Despite this, I never knew it could give me Uranium. Honestly, quite a nice surprise in the end, considering that I'm collecting Uranium for my new base to power 3 Nuclear Reactors.

I can't wait to see some 1.6 spoils bags. I always thought it was the tools that were overpowered. A Grinding/Heat/Fortune4 drill is nothing to laugh at.

The tools are great and overpowered, but they drain my BatPack quickly if I get one too early in a game without proper IC2 Infrastructure.

Then again, there's nothing like the feeling of just cutting through stone like nothing else.

That makes sense, considering that you normally find a LOT of Dartcraft-related items in those bags. At least now I know that opening a Spoils bag from now one may hold an unexpected surprise.

I still find it strange that the Wiki says nothing about this exclusive loot.

i'm pretty sure the way it works is that it picks a random item id from vanilla items and compatible mods.

The Spoils Bags contain the same items as the loot chests. But these chests come in different tiers (lowest: Blacksmith chests in NPC villages, middle: Dungeon chests, highest: Stronghold chests). I guess if you would explore a couple hundred strongholds, you might get lucky and find a chest with similar drops as in the OP.

And the Spoils Bags are a lot harder to get in the latest Dartcraft versions. You need a weapon with Treasure upgrade - no more Grinding, and the Treasure upgrade uses Nether Star and gold blocks to craft. Kill mobs to get treasure cards to drop (I think at 1.5% plus bonus for Looting upgrades) and then you combine four of the cards to get a Spoils Bag in 3 different tiers. For the highest tier you have to kill mobs in the Nether or the End.

I guess with Spoils Bags, this make Uranium Ore renewable. But considering the chances of getting a Spoils Bag containing that sort of stuff, it would be better if I just breed the bees for it.

IC2Exp uses now Liquid UU, but I did find Iridium just a few days ago in a Stronghold chest. Uranium is much more common, pretty sure it can also be in loot chests.

i love dart craft because of its zelda type theme. I'm kind of a zelda fanboy if ya didin't know *COUGH*zelda thread*COUGH*
