sound issues *fixed*

i just installed the ftb launcher and no sounds are working at all in my regular minecraft they are working fine any suggestions? and i can post the full console log if need to get help

The log would be nice. Please be more specific when you say no sound. Do you mean from mod items, background music, normal minecraft sounds or all of these? Or something that I did not think of.

Please follow this guide exactly to reinstall FTB and update Java if it is not already 7u21 and 64bit if your OS is 64bit. Once done please post your console log in debug mode to pastebin.com Here is the guide to put the log on pastebin.com

Edit: It appears that you did follow the guide to install FTB. Please let me read through the log first then I will comment further.

Backup your saves before trying this. Not sure why you got this error. Minecraft did not download the resources, or sounds to your FTB Ultimate folder. You can try copying over your resource folder from your vanilla minecraft folder to the ftb resources folder. Be sure to BackUp your saves first though.

So basically you want to copy from this folder: C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resources
to this folder: C:\Users\Chris\Desktop\ftb\Ultimate\minecraft\resources
