Soul Shards?

For some odd reason....
I cant seem to make a Soul Forge?
I want to make soul shards for the mob farms.... in NEI I have the soul shards.... since the last update the symbols are round instead of the old spike-form.
I have all the soul shards listed in NEI, but the soul forge doesnt even appear in NEI.
Do I have to research it first?
and if so, how? Google told me nothing of the sort!

I was heistant to intentionally read through the posts at first, after seeing "ForgeIRC" at first glance, thinking "I dont use IRC".
So the recipe has changed? You need End stone and build that formation on the ground?
Why wouldnt this information be updated on the wiki?

The FTB wiki is a bit unkept. And always, always, read the full post before making assumptions.

Aint nobody gots time for that!

Ahh yes, Soul shards creator got sick if having their mod labeled cheaty so they now require you to go to the end to make a shard.

Also wikkies are never up to date, there must be like only 3 people maintain the whole thing or something.

While it is till beeing worked on and many things need to be done we try to be as up to date with changes as possible and not put false information there!

ftbwiki.org was started because the official FTB wiki was lacking a lot in updates. The official wiki has picked up the pace a lot (fortunately they seem to be opening up, closing off editing is against what a wiki is) so nowadays it's more up-to-date than the unofficial one.
