I've been planning and working on a Soul Magic mod for quite some time and I would like some feedback as well as suggestions. My mod is based around the concept of soul reaping/harvesting and soul manipulation. Think Harken Scythe's soul side, Intangible, and Necromancy.

What should be the first steps of the mod?

What should the end goal be?

How should progression work?

What would you like to see?

What do you think would be interesting to explore?
 
Think of what specializations you want the mod to fill.
You are essentially asking us to design the mod for you.

Think of a mechanic you'd like to see in the game and just implement it. Even if it's a copy.

Do you want the mod to enhance the players ability? Do you want it to augment production? Do you want it to be a destructive force?

A lot of these questions should be answered by yourself. Because people like to tell you what they like, but the honest ones will state they don't really know and that you should surprise them.

Do some research on concepts of souls outside of the game both in fiction and propper concepts real people hold.
