Sorting systems.

Hey guys. I am sorry if this is the wrong forum, I couldn't see one better.

I've currently in need of a good sorting system. I'm using a Ender chest being sorted through 2 sorting machines and into a ME terminal right now, which is okay. I don't mind it too much, it just has an ass load of wires and pipes. Does anyone else have any ideas?

I also wanted to see if my one of my ideas would work. This would get rid of about 90% of the pipes and wires. Would I be able to send Enderchest 1 into the sorting machine, which would send all unprocessed ores into Enderchest 2, and all other things into Enderchest 3. Enderchest 2 would then send items into a pulverizer then a furnace, then send them into Enderchest 3, which would pull into the ME terminal?

That sounds like it would work just fine. But there are some things that don't need to be put into a pulverizer and a furnace (Monazit, Aluminum, etc.). We have separate chests for things that 1) Just need to be macerated, 2) Just need to be smelted 3) Need to be pulverized, then furnaced

I prefer my handy-dandy CC+TE insertion pipe+barrels system for stuff like cobble.

I'm not looking to store stuff like cobble. I generally send that down a void pipe. I've got an insane amount of it and no use for it yet. I'm talking about more useful stuff.

I'm using item tesseracts instead of ender chests, which dumps into a relay, then into a pneumatic tube and through a sorting machine. Previously, I had most items sorting to barrels via a tube system, with things like cobble being sent to a different colored tube and into a relay that ejects into lava.

Now, I have the same disposal system, but I have replaced the barrel system with a me interface and store everything in a me network.

I found using the tesseract and relay to be much faster than the ender chests and it has no problem keeping up with my direwolf20 mining well frame quarry.
