Hi everyone, my friend and I have been playing Agrarian Skies for several months now and are addicted to this pack.

Our problem is that we have always relied on BC pipes or Sorting Machines for our sorting needs but neither are available in this pack.

We are both very unfamiliar with most of the mods in this pack so I was hoping someone around here knew of a simple alternative to BC diamond pipes.

We have a basic ME system but it is too resource intensive for us to use on a large scale atm. Mainly I want something that I can pass items to and it will send the items that I specify to an output I specify.

Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks! I had a feeling it would be related to itemducts. Can the same thing be done with liquiducts?
For sorting fluids? Yes IIRC. Also they are called fluiducts now

Also I suggest getting a massive AE system power source and the system it self ASAP as it saves space and can craft items, store items AND fluids

Yes and no. There is a whitelist and a blacklist, but it only works for liquids, not items.

Um...it most definitely does work for items. Otherwise my ME system would be overflowing with oak planks (my farms are powered by eight steam dynamos running on planks from a sawmill on the same itemduct line that runs into my ME interface, with oak planks blacklisted) and all my blood magic slates would be Demonic slates (itemduct whitelisted to pull only reinforced slates from the altar.)

Applied energistics.

Learn to use TE itemducts as well. They are capable of the same logic that BC pipes use, but are a lot more refined and "easier" to use.

There are three priority settings, a round robin setting (only possible because each input to the itemduct system considers all the outputs, based on priority and thus can do round robin), and the ability to blacklist, in addition to whitelist. This is in opposition to diamond pipe which can only whitelist.

Also, though it is arguable which is more materials, (the redstone engine BC pipe/autarchic gate, or itemducts + servo) itemducts can be powered via servo, which means the RS signal can be contained within the same block, without emitting one which might disrupt other processes.

You can also disable them with RS signals, using the familiar TE GUI settings, pertaining to RS interaction.
