Sorting System Help

My sorting system has recently backlogged and I'm wondering why. It has been working for a while now until recently, and I'm hoping somebody can help me. Here are some images of the system:

Well, there is one reason to still post, and that is to ask you how you solved it.

I mean, we might have the same problem ourselves later on too, and it's always good to have a solution written somewhere, for the few people actually using the "search".

I simply forgot to turn on the power for my induction smelter. A very stupid mistake.

I accidentally disconnected one of my sorting machines from my battery boxes once. It took me an hour to figure out what the hell was going on. There have been stupider mistakes.

I once forgot to make a sorting system, I just kept Q'ing my items at a closed chest. Didn't need that Iridium anyway, i'm a lumberjack :3
