That's not entirely true. Preformatted drives, priority of chests, those are sorting.

When I need delivery assurance, I generally use insertion pipes to my advantage. With An Insertion Pipe just so (either Additional Pipes or TE will work here), you can make sure things get into point B. Just make sure it won't overflow and explode!

I'd loop things back into the starting chest. It's safer.
