Summary of the problem some refined storage items show multiples of 2

What is the bug? most items in refined storage system show multiples of 2, in my system it includes iron, diamonds, obsidian
for example i have 35 diamonds. it shows 70 instead. if i put 1 item individual it will show 2.

Is it repeatable? I don't think its repeatable.I tried it on a single player world and a separate multiplayer world , and that issue does not happen.

Is the resources stored on disks or elsewhere using a external storage node?

they are stored in a drawer, with a external storage on a drawer controller

Could it be that you have more than 1 external storage to the same controller and/or drawer?

My initial drawer controller did not reach all my drawers in the storage room so i added a second drawer controller with a external storage to increase the range of the drawer .I simply forgot it was there.I did not know it was going to display twice at all. As soon as i destroyed the external storage and the drawer controller it displayed correctly afterwards. I simply forgot abI changed the config so the drawer controller range increase and i have now no issues. This was mostly a misunderstanding in my part

Thanks for your report @CrystalDarkEye and to you as well @grandrolf for sussing out why it happens. I will speak with the author to see if anything can be done however it is likely this is just the way the interaction happens and therefore nothing can be done.

Okay so spoke to the author and nothing can be done about it. However, glad we were able to work out why it happened.
