Problem Some questions, modpack, mcpc

Hello, i have some questions to the Minecraft FTB server running on MCPC+. Which version of MCPC must i use. I know about mcpc+ and mcpc+ legacy but i dont know difference. Next question is to modpack. Which is best for my server if i have 8core cpu and 10gb ram /unix/ and how many slots can i have? I have problem with dw20, i dont know why but with 3 players server losing tps to 6-9. Next, how can i disable grabbing blocks from portal gun ? Which plugin is the best to protect players houses. I heard a lot abou GriefPrevention but what i must set that players can grief for example with vajra? And last question, which plugin is good for logs ? Now im using logblock for mcpc but that plugin cant register action with items like vajra. Thank you for your time and sorry for my english :)
 
Hello, I would go with Ultimate if you have the hardware for it. About the MCPC+; here is a link to download some ported/fixed mods and plugins along with the download for MCPC: http://mcportcentral.co.za/wiki/index.php?title=Mods_and_Plugins_for_1.4.7. For your player-protection needs, I would go with MyTown for player grouping and GriefPrevention for players who do not want a town. Both are very customizable and are smart choices when it comes to modded servers.

Which MCPC must i download ? Mcpc+ or mcpc+ legacy? When im using mcpc+, i have problem with ic2 and when im using legacy for example with xycraft. Which mods shuting down server or getting errors? I have 8core cpu and 10gb ram, is it good for ultimate pack ? For example, i had this hw and dw20 pack and i still losing tps. What must i set in griefprevention for protect modpack items or block?

Use MCPC+ Legacy for 1.4.7 (FTB runs on 1.4.7)

Personally we use #15 as we found it to be the most stable in regards to xycraft, you still get the liquid tanks spam in the console but it doesn't crash the server.
 
Turtles, Wand of Excavation and many other items will bypass Grief Prevention unfortunately, even if you put them in the config. You can either restrict them to certain trusted ranks (we use kits) and ban the recipes with 'Recipear'
 
I had one problem, players on server cant craft some vanilla blocks like diamond block, gold block but some like fence they can...help :(
 
That will be gregtech, you have to use a compressor to compress ingots into blocks unless you change the gregtech configs.
