i have some problem with GregTech recipes. I see in the extruder to make a steel rod is need 96 eu,that i have one turbine steam. How to make more voltage if i want it to 96 eu? I use tin cables.

The thing with GregTech is that there is a lot of carefully checking recipes etc in NEI before you take on any project, however large or small. There are many things that can trip you up.

Here, for a 96 EU recipe, you need an extruder that can accept 96 EU, namely the tier 2 version (advanced), which takes up to 128 EU. If you're in the very early game, stepping up to advanced machines is usually a reasonably big step. If I were you, I'd check out a few tutorials on GregTech electricity before you go much further. It'll save a lot of frustration.

Here's a start: https://ftb.gamepedia.com/GregTech_5/Electricity

That can i while use three turbine for that? I have see that i have only 1 turbine in 1 amp, that can say only 32 eu/t. When i use turbine, that can say 3 amp more turbine, and total power is 32*3=96? You will be need more extras machine if you want to go in next tier, because i dont have laser engravel for that. That sad saidly,i not see any tethradrite for more power

Well, you can produce 96 EU with 3 basic turbines, but the recipe requires an extruder that can handle 96 EU. The basic extruder can only accept 32 EU.

You can get copper from chalcopyrite as well as tetrahedrite. Usually found around level 10-32 (https://ftb.gamepedia.com/GregTech_5/Mining_and_Processing - look for copper).

PS It would be handy to let people know what modpack you're playing and what version of GT(GT5 or GT5u).

I was play in GT5U. I search tetrhadrite ore veins, not the copper. I found many of copper, but i can't seen any tethradrite ore vein for making antimony. Because battery is important to make some tools that have electricity yet? Or you have some tips for search any antimony. It's so hard on my world

Ah I see.

I look for tetra in extreme hills (between 80-120).

My general early-game strategy is to get a 'normal' world set up ... basic tools, food, armour etc ... and then go on an extended tour of the surrounding regions making a note of every ore I find. And then a tour of all the local caves. It helps if you've got a minimap installed, so you can mark waypoints systematically.

I have journeymap installed. I have seen some articles that better when you passing the lv era, because they ore processing is not better thay hv era. Some think was through on my mind "how to have the hv era quickly?". I have search for some information about that, then they're use stainless steel for making a tools on hv era. Yes, i want to pass it,but i not want to waste my resources. Beacuse that, i use some extruder for extrude my steel into rods. I have seen in hv era too,but i think it will be better when i have some battery buffer, because using turbine directly to machine will waste your steam. I have some question, like when i see, the ore vein named by the main resource they have. When i melt bauxite, that will be change into alumunium for mv era? That worse when i copy my world seed and paste it in the new world? Because i dont know that will be influence the ore generation

Yeah, getting to HV is pretty hard-core if you're doing this first-time around. Maybe experienced GT-ers have ways to zip through but in my experience it takes a long time.

From memory, a seed produces exactly the same ore generation every time.

Bauxite needs to be processed (maybe the centrifuge - can't remember now) but you'll need an electric blast furnace to cook the aluminium anyway.

Batteries are definitely the way to go in the long term, but for early game, storing steam is also a possibility if certain mods are installed - eg railcraft has multiblock iron tanks that are pretty cheap to make.

If you haven't already looked at it, you might want to look at the modpack infitech2. The in-game quest book is pretty good at getting you through the ages (steam, LV, MV etc) and has a lot of mods that'll make the whole experience a lot less painful :)

I think that will works, but it can be seen how much to full it. For example, whem i use railcraft steam, they stored like as a liquid in tank, but when i stored GT steam, the tank was been smoked(by steam) and can't see the full of this tank (in this cause i used TE4 tanks). It will be difficult to see that will full or not. And,oh yes...i used 8 high pressure coal boiler, and that very waste my steam. Beacuse, when the tank full, they will be "shoosh" and the heat can't stop. They will be heat until the charcoal/coal on the boiler was out. Some question "thats need long time if you want store GT steam on Railcraft's steel tank 3*5*3 size?". Because i won't waste my charcoal. It needs 15 or more charcoal/coal in dust or gems in high pressure coal boiler

Well, it like steam was full, but with the time, the smoke more densed from before. It very weird because the tank like full but no,i will send the picture to you,but i need some answer from my question "its need long time to fill Railcraft's steel tank 3*5*3 size with GT steam?". It very difficult to explain without image about 'smoked'

Ok...back about tethradrite ore vein. That some biomes can be influence the ore generation of gregtech?

The very first machines should be ... bending machine, wiremill and polarizer ... since they all save on resources.
