Some packs runnning better?

So I have not a very good computer which means I have trouble running FTB. So I was wondering if some packs use less resources than others?

If it is due to lag, add Optifine to your FTB Pack. It helps a lot.

more mods = more "fps lag", some mods use more resources then other mods.

Try setting your video settings to max fps
