I created a world with Vanilla+, and I noticed that I couldn't find iron tanks, steel tanks, steam turbine, iron plates, steel plates, or the rolling machine. I was wanting to play around with electric locomotives and such in there, but none of this stuff was there, and I can't seem to figure out how to enable it. I was playing around with Infinity, and that stuff was there, but Infinity is way too heavy on the mods and runs too slowly with available computer hardware.

Been there, done that. At best I was able to enable the electric locomotive, but I still can't make the components for it, or anything else that's missing. I even tried copying the railcraft config files from Infinity, but it didn't help.

I deleted the Railcraft configs, didn't help. Then tried deleting all configs so they revert to default, also didn't work. Actually, I copied the configs elsewhere prior, so I was able to revert everything back to normal. I don't mind not needing the rolling machine for making track, but I really want the steel tanks back. And the devices needed for supplying power to electric track. But if there's something in there I can't properly edit, then so be it. I'll make do without.

Yes, not long prior to the release of version 9.7.0.0. It was already the latest release (Vanilla+ version and latest version were the same), but I replaced the mod JAR with one downloaded from the Railcraft site. Made no difference.

Maybe it's been minetweaked out?

Remove the file in the "scripts" folder, back it up first they may have minetweaked something to prevent crashes...

Yes! That's exactly what i was looking for. Thank you. There were two scripts (NEI.zs and RecipeRemoval.zs) that removed the recipes and then hid the items in NEI. I changed the extensions to ".OLD" and the items all returned. There's a third that provided an altered recipe for the steam locomotive, but I left that alone.
