Details of the issue:

Every once in a while, my game will be running smoothly when all of the sudden, I get terrible tick rates. (game runs at like 1 tick per second or less) This is making it unplayable as it takes a solid 10-20 seconds to open a chest or activate an inventory.

During all this, my fps is also fluctuating from 60 all the way down to 12.

I'm not too sure what could be causing this, and I have no idea how to fix it​

Can you gives us some computer specs? While it may be something else, it is always useful to know what kind of machine we are looking at when diagnosing FPS and SP issues.

I ended up playing from a backup, haven't had any problems since. Might have been one of those one-time things.
