[Solved] I was banned from chat for no reason/difficulties with Buildcraft

I just created this account a few minutes ago previous to this post looking to find some help because i'm having an issue with industrialcraft 2. So basically I log on to the chat and it says that it can't find my hostname. At the bottom of the chat it says that I am banned. I dont understand and would like to know why I was banned in the first place. Also besides the chat problem I am having a problem with my pipes and oil well. It is pumping but it isn't filling up the tanks.[DOUBLEPOST=1371175682][/DOUBLEPOST]Also I went down the hole from which the oil came from and there is loads of it.

Do you mean it was filling them, then it stopped? Could be you sucked up water. I'm not sure exactly how it handles sucking up water, just that it used to be a problem.

Yea water is annoying just add a MFR liquid router if you can or a cheaper way is to cap the hole down to the oil reverse and break the pump and reset it. (idk why but it's pumps infinte water when you don't even if it's sitting right in pure oil) Oh and that's isn't IC2 it's BC. Oh yea and I hate that server that kicked me off cause the owner didn't like the way I played.

Nope...I made sure water was cut off from it. You are probably not banned from chat, you're just having troubles connecting properly. I'd create a post in the support section describing exactly the kind of messages you get (ideally copy&paste them in).

The server was most likely doing a backup or maintenance cycle, often random errors with any site/forum in that type of case, so ignore the ban msg your first account should be fine.
