[Solved] A little help please: Customising Infinity pack.

So we're going for the Infinty pack on our server map reset - however as always we like to add a little personal twist to it by adding a few mods - ATG, Galacticraft etc...

So far all the things I added seem to be working fine, except for two.

Any feedback by anyone would be greatly appreciated on this.

1) Modular Power Suits

MachineMuse's download page says the following about 1.7.10

But then I realised that Direwolf's 1.7 pack does have MPS- so there must be some kind of working version! So I downloaded the DW20 pack, pulled out MPS and Numina from there, and plonked them into my own.

No errors, and all the MPS items show up fine in NEI - but I get no recipes.

Anyone has any idea what's going on with that?


2) RotaryCraft

I cannot play Minecraft without Roc! It's wrong!

I download the latest DragonAPI and RotaryCraft from Reika's page, and instantly everything flips out. I get loading crashes both on server, and when I tried it locally on singleplayer.

Complaining something about the screwdriver.

Update: MPS problem solved.

Copied the ThermalExpansion.recipes and Vanilla.recipes files in \minecraft\config\machinemuse\recipes from DW to the Infinity one, and now I have the proper recipes.

Weird how they aren't included in the Universal config.

You need an updated version of Buildcraft due to an API issue.

Found the bastard - dunno how I missed it all this time.

Download from @Reika website insists on giving me the files as xxxxx.jar.zip, which of course derps everything out.

Renaming the file and chopping off the .zip in the end solved it.

I do not understand how the .jar.zip catching is not working for anyone. I rename my .jar files and it detects it and crashes as intended. Yet downloaded .jar.zips do not???

I'm not sure I understand Reika.

They are downloaded as .jar.zip, and since opening the zip shows a lot of Java gubbins, the first instict is just to throw them in there as they are.

You realise that something is not right when all kinds of errors pop up :)

I only realised I had to rename them after half an hour of googling, and found one of your replies in a remote forum somewhere saying ".jar.zip".

Maybe you should put a note somewhere with the download link stating the obvious :)

You need an updated version of Buildcraft due to an API issue.

Also, updating BC won't work. Logistic Pipes are very specific on what version they need to work. Putting in the updated version only gives an error asking to re-downgrade.

How did you get ATG to work? I've tried adding it to the mod folder and when I try spawning worlds with it it's just a few variants of the standard forest biome.

Remember to change the worldgen to ATG during map creation.

If it's on a server you change it from server.properties. If SP you have the button thingy.

I'm on my phone so don't have the exact names of the lines. I'll post details later :)
