Solar Panels?

Hey Guys, i havent played for a while and currently playing unthinged..
so as there is no advanced solar mod installed, i was wondering, what these
LV, MV and HV Solar Panels come from and how do they work?

I mean these flat things, i know that you can craft the LV Panels with a Machine Block in an Assembling Machine, but whats about the higher ones?

they are cover upgrades that can be attached to gregtech machines (on the top side, naturally), in order for them to run on solar power. afaik, the mv/hv solar panel covers are disabled by default in the configs.
