Sorry if this is the wrong section "support" seemed for more technical problems like starting up the game e.g.

Basically my problem is that my solar panels keep flipping onto there side unable to get any sunlight and i have no idea why.
I have a screenshot, if it helps maybe its a simple fix but i reallly really need help on this every time i try something else, it turns another 30 solar panels into generators ._.

It might be useful to include the mod pack / version you are using.

Did you force wrench those solars? I've had this issue in FTB Unleashed 1.1.3 after having force wrenched the solars to move them around a bit. Though that was only a visual glitch, they did still work and after I restarted the client, they were all pointing up again. Might not be the same issue though.

I'm using Yogscraft, what do you mean by force wrenching? I'll restart and see, but it doesn't seem like they're making power.

I'm not sure if Dartcraft is in your modpack but that mod add's the force wrench. A tool to serialize tile entities like your solar panels into items, and drop them down somewhere else while keeping all the energy or other attributes (like items). Because you had no idea what I was talking about it's safe to assume you didn't force wrench them ;-)

Did a restart fixed it? If not, I have no ideas... Sorry!

IIRC yogscraft is 1.4.7 and has no DartCraft.

Are you sure they are sitting on the side and that it's not just a texture pack problem?

IIRC there was an issue earlier with the textures of IC2 machines flipping over on their sides. But it was purely a matter of the textures rotating, not the actual machine and its functions.

Hmm, a few others have told me its a textural problem except i'm not receiving any power. So maybe its someting else?

Sooo idk what kind of solar panel you are using. But in the picture it's night. Maybe that's why?

There's probably a hole in your wiring. I don't think IC2 even supports something like rotating solar panels. So it's either a texture problem or something in your system, not a problem of the solar panel.
