Mac Soaryn+ChickenBones= Crash

Ok so through nei, i looked up soaryn's xycraft machines and you know the fancy colored text? Well, i tried to use backspace and it crashed my game. Now it is stuck like that and if I open a gui or inventory, it crashes. I already tried force update, and i can only think of reinstalling NEI. HELP!

Force updating will not work. Please follow these directions.

Back up your save. Delete the NEI folder and NEI.dat from the individual save's folder. There is an NEI folder and an NEI.dat just inside the saves folder, you can also delete those if you'd like though I've been told they do not need to be deleted. If this is a server you are playing on you need to look in the folder that has the same name as the IP of the server.

It fixed it, just had to delete both sets of nei folders, thanks for your help. <3

Glad it worked for you and thanks for the info. Someone told me it was not required to delete the other set. As I do not use Xycraft I have never had it happen to me. Maybe I will test it out when I have some free time.
