Simple question: How do I zap 'em?

I can go in there swinging sword but it got boring and I'm not quite there yet for moving that node somewhere else.

I'm thinking tesla coil from IC2 will do but I'd rather not do that unless necessary.

Oh and a simple tip: Don't plant a silverwood tree somewhere you might want to expand one day

Well if you're doing TC you could just zap or incinerate them with wands.

Next thing you know people will be calling TC wisps OP and Azanor will have to nerf it. All because people do not know how to use TC crafting in moderation/allow flux to level out in between. Similar to how EE was destroyed...

To be fair, Wisps will only get to that level if they start dropping several stacks of whatever you happen to want at the time.

To be fair the only thing I really made were 3 iron golems and the boots since they break too fast and I'm not complaining about the wisps, I have gravi chest on I can go in there and kill them in 1-2 minutes, but I'd like to have some sort of bug zapper

I think it has to do something with cornering them off, I saw maybe 1 or 2 wisps out in the open total before I built that room and flux levels were pretty much the same

Yeah the wisps spawn in aura nodes but the node was made from a silverwood tree you said? Did you merge it with another node because silverwood nodes are pure and should purge flux automatically?

yes that was silverwood tree node and it does purge flux but very slowly. As far as I know it didn't merge with anything, it just split the aura that was there before the tree.
