SMP issues (server owner) Ultimate pack!

OK so, we couldn't wait and started a fresh map on mind crack pack. During march 1st we just built plots and roads so we wouldn't explore the world much. today Ultimate pack comes out and we switch. now the server is laggy and basically unplayable, sometimes its almost playable with one person online. I ve tryed everything I know, even rolled back the server to the mindcrack pack and it is still really laggy. is the map ruined is ultimate pack still too derpy? do i have any hope in keeping this map (14 plots 62x62, with roads) server specs (average 2-5 people online) RAM 3072MB HDD 30GB CPU 2 cores Data transfer Unlimited* Platform Virtual Server anything I can get to help you, help me..Please let me know!

also, I loaded a back up back to mindcrack pack and it still messed up and laggy

I guess from what i understand is, the ultimate pack/java is a lot more RAM heavy then mindcrack? it was really smooth with mindcrack.

There a memory leak issue going on with some server, trying disabling chickenchunks. I uninstall on the test server, seems to have restored things, not seeing memory leaks on the console anymore. Going live soon on the server, i hope, will know more then.
