SMP issues (server owner) Ultimate pack!

OK so, we couldn't wait and started a fresh map on mind crack pack. During march 1st we just built plots and roads so we wouldn't explore the world much. today Ultimate pack comes out and we switch. now the server is laggy and basically unplayable, sometimes its almost playable with one person online. I ve tryed everything I know, even rolled back the server to the mindcrack pack and it is still really laggy.

is the map ruined
is ultimate pack still too derpy?
do i have any hope in keeping this map (14 plots 62x62, with roads)

server specs (average 2-5 people online)

RAM 3072MB HDD 30GB CPU 2 cores Data transfer Unlimited* Platform Virtual Server

anything I can get to help you, help me..Please let me know!

You should probably try posting in the server tech support section ;)
Edit: also, the ultimate pack is still a beta, so use a back up if you have one!
