Smeltery does not work in Mod Minecraft Crash Landing

I tried to follow the instructions attached building Smeltery in the following video , but it does not work

This is my Smeltery

Please help me solve this problem

Looks all okay from that angle so ... (probably stupid questions, but just to get them out of the way) ... have you ...

1. Right-clicked the controller to see if the gui pops up
2. Put some lava in the tank.

Also, I notice you're using non-Tinkers seared bricks - maybe that's the problem.

I think this is what you need to do, exept one thing you said, the bricks are from tinker's so they should work

Oh right, from the tooltip it looks like it's from some other mod. My mistake

You cannot use crumbling bricks. You must hammer them and create the actual bricks.
