Problem Small server owner in a little trouble.

Hi,

I'm a little in over my head with this server thing, but we have a small server running (5 people) on a dedicated machine (4gb RAM, windows 64bit), the modpack we are running is DireWolf 20 with a BIOMESOP map.

These are the few problems I'm having:

1) It looks like there is a memory leak present, we start at 2gb RAM being used running the server. When people are active it starts filling up and filling up until we hit 4gb RAM (up to this point the server continous to run perfectly fine) and then the server crashes. At the moment I fix this by manually restarting every 8 hours.

2) If there is no fix for my first question, I've tried to figure out how to add server plugins like I used to in Bukkit but I can't figure it out really. Because I'd love to have some automatic server restart plugin if this exists, if it does can anyone help me out and walk me through the steps of this?

3) How can I disable the taint spread? (lol)

Heya

1. Quite probably a few leaks. Its a shame they cause you to crash outright.

2. Look up MCPC+ its forge + spigot combined server jar which many servers use.

3. Its in the config files for thaumcraft afaik

You don't need plugins for automatic restarts. Just set a script to shutdown the server every X amount of hours and then reboot it.
