Title Slime Islands In The Nether Are Not Generating!!

Details of the issue well i play at shapethecube.net servers, and i had been talking with the mods there and they told me that the slime islands generation in the nether has been disabled!! i don't know if that is from the download of the server files but they also told me that the default config. file had the nether black listed!! and i've watched a few a the hermitcraft's members and they showed where they found such islands in the nether!! so i was wondering if it is blacklisted for normal server downloads and not for hermitcrafters, should it be available for all?
