SkyFactory3 Doesn't launch

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title SkyFactory3 Doesn't launch

Launcher Type Twitch Desktop App

Modpack SkyFactory3

Modpack version 3.0.15

Have you modified the pack? No

Link to log file http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/c85b6d0a

Details of the issue I just installed the modpack form Twitch Launcher, and whenever I try to open it, this shows up. I have the latest version of Java, running High Sierra on a MacBook Pro mid-2012 with 4 GB of RAM. Not sure if this is the proper report to paste.

Recommended amount of ram for 1.10-packs is from 4 and up, but if you're lucky you might get it to run with 3-3,5 (if it let's you), allocated on that machine and don't have much other stuff running as well.

I have the latest version of Java
If this is Java 9, uninstall that and install the latest version of java version 8.

This log doesn't help much, follow instructions (if you still have issues after the 2 above questions/suggestions) - found here:

Yeah, that was the first log I saw, so I used it. This one is probably better http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/984dfced . As for java, I have Java 8 Update 151. For RAM, I tried giving it 4G, but it doesn't seem to work either. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Here's the JRM "-Xmx4G -Xms256m -XX: PermSize=256m -Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true -Duser.language=en -Duser.country=US" the space between colon and perm was added as to not turn into a smiley face upon posting.
