SkyFactory 4 will not run on my Mac

Whenever I go to run the pack on my Mac OS, I get sent to the older launcher, and when I run the pack, this is the error message I receive:

Good that you solved your issue - just want to point out that SkyFactory 4 is not a FTB pack - you should contact the mod pack author if you need support in the future with this pack.

Could you also post what you did, or what changed so that someone else in the future can find the fix instead of seeing the dreaded "fixed it, no explanation" thread?
