You could try Enigmatica 2 Skyblock, or some of Pixel's (the dev of modern skyblock) other packs. They use all kinds of resource generation, from crops to chickens.

I stumbled across Slime Skies the other day. It doesn't have Ex Nihilo or Sky Resources (the mod that Modern Skyblock uses). Haven't played it yet but it looks interesting.
