I know this is a really lame question, but I was wondering how one gets a Grass Block into the Trasnmutation Table? I never have luck with enchanting tables nor do I have the XP at the moment to enchant a million books to hopefully get Silktouch. I am just really getting into Sky Odyssey and wanted to remove the initial Island to make my own setup, however I am unable to do so until I save Grass!

If you just need the ability to create grass elsewhere, using an equipped Philosopher's Stone on a Sand block will transmute it to grass (and vice-versa, so be careful!). If you specifically want the ability to save the grass block to the transmutation table, the earliest non-RNG option is the Blood Magic Alchemy Table.
