Summary of the problem Sky Factory 3 server authentication failure

What is the bug? Whenever i try to connect to a server it tells me "the authentication servers are down for maintenance" and whenever anything player skin related shows up, its either default skin. Old player data has reset as though I was a new person

Is it repeatable? I cannot say it's repeatable as it seems isolated to machines and not a system malfunction
