Sky Factory 3 Question

I've noticed that others while wearing an angel ring are ablew to shift-click to place blocks without falling (as pressing shift normally does), does anyone know how this is done?

I've also seen items being placed anywhere (walls or floor) as if there is an invisible tool rack, is this from a mod I am unaware of?

Hold jump as you press shift. It will allow you to place block as you normally would by shift clicking.

The place anywhere function is a feature of Draconic Evolution. Have to go into your key bindings to find/change the key.
