Modpack version Latest. (Dont know what number value)

Details of the issue When I place down chickens (including the vanilla one) they dont move. They all face east, dont respond to seeds, dont move off the block I place them unless pushed, still do take damage, and cannot breed because they dont move. I have a picture if necessary.

I am having the exact same issue. Also I discovered that my nether portal instantly works like in creative mode. I don't have to wait for the animation to finish before I'm sent to the nether. Dropping my loot in a chest and jumping into the void fixed that problem but unfortunately it didn't fix the chickens. This is really bothering me because I'm really invested in getting all of the chickens and now I can't

I know the feeling. I use the chickens to get ores and thing i dont know how to get. Im really hoping someone knows a fix.

Had the same thing today with chickens, found that it was only the chickens I'd had on nests though (moved them from nest to breeding area with a net). If I spawned a new chicken of any type by throwing eggs til one appeared, they work fine.
