sky factory 2.5 can't join my own server

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

I'm experiencing the same issue, my ip hasn't changed, and it was working the night before, but currently it's not allowing me to connect. It just constantly tries to ping the server without finding it, even doing a "direct connect" with a "localhost" it won't let me join or even find the server.

i just solved my issue, i use something called a powerline to get Ethernet at my computer rather than solely relying on the wifi, and i'm no networking guru or anything but it seems to me that after someone unplugged the router the change in bandwidth was what made it unable to connect to the server, because i'm going to assume that the server is using up all of the bandwidth. So i think this is a networking throughput issue rather than an issue with the modpack. Try to revert to an old networking setup you were using before you had these problems.
