  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title:
Sky Factory 2.5.2 Randomly Crashing
Launcher Version:
Modpack:
Sky Factory
Modpack Version:
2.5.2

Details of the issue:
The title explains it all, randomly crashing while playing sky factory. The modpack loads up fine, and sometimes I'll get 5 minutes of gameplay before the crash, sometimes 30. I can't seem to figure out a common occurrence of the cause of the crash. Sometimes it happens when I leave the end, sometimes when I'm crafting, sometimes when I'm just scrolling through the options menu. I thought it first to be a memory issue, but now I have 7 GB allocated to the game via the FTB Launcher slider, out of the 8 GB of RAM on my computer, and it has still crashed multiple times after that adjustment. I have linked the log that pops up on my iMac when it crashes, its not the log from the launcher console (idk if those would have two different outputs), but if you need me to produce that I'm sure after a few minutes of gameplay I could have a fresh new log for you.

Please help me out, I really enjoy playing this modpack. Thank you in advance.

We need the crash log from the launcher. I am not sure what you posted there. Also only allocate 4gb max because anymore can cause issues with java.

"Graphics hardware encountered an error and was reset: 0x00000003" might be caused by too high memory allocation or not.
