I had no idea, that's hilarious. My basemates and I spent something like 2 weeks trying to get a sigil once (Before we learned it had been disabled from loot chests) primarily to create a cursed earth spawner.
Damn, I must have missed that memo. :/ I spent some time searching chests but eventually gave up and spawned a Wither which seems to have 100% sigil drop rate, or close to it.
From what I've heard it still shows up when using the Botania flower that generates chest/dungeon loot.
you know, I never would have thought to try it without the Sigil! Cheers
