i am trying to play some solo in ftb monster since there is no such thing as a good multiplayer server for monster or direwolf20 where half the items arent banned or pay to use or really mentally retarded admins


anyway i want to add the command /home and prob /back so i have the ability to explore mystcraft without death being the only way back

i found free teleport but have no idea how to make it work since i cant just put it in like a mod and there is no plugins folder in monster where i have started

single player commands would be a massive pain to try to put in because all the instructions that dont fit with how monster is setup

Your best bet would probably be to add the warp book mod (can't remember if it in the pack, or not), or use mystcraft linking books (add intra-linking so you can travel between places in the same dimension)

Mystcraft had the tpx command, which allows teleporting between dimensions. /tpx 0 will get you back to the overworld.

A replacement would me with the mini map set waypoint at base and where ever you are in world that you want to view/explore and use the teleport aspect it works nearly the exact same as home/back but can go to multiple different waypoints whenever you feel like it

Please try it out before you make a comment like that. Their suggestion about using Journey Map (I think that was what you guys was talking about <_<) is a great replacement for /home and /back

If you still in disbelief, watch this

Journey map, voxel/zans, map writer All have it built in and it makes returning to your latest death point faster than the flash running there

Asking for a replacement for a plugin which won't work anymore....when offered we are told it's stupid and not what you asked for? IT'S EXACTLY WHAT YOU ASKED FOR! You pull up the waypoint menu click teleport on the waypoint you want to go to... It's pretty simple. In the future if you ask for a suggestion and someone gives you a perfectly viable suggestion don't call it stupid. Good day

Now now tedyhere.... Please note the New User tag, and take a deep breath... For every 6 new users, we get one who thinks their shit doesn't stink, and tell people they are stupid while not actually reading or wanting to learn anything other than what they already know as "truth"

Now... @NocturneChaos here's the skivy... You ask a question, you get replies from folks who have obviously been playing these mods a LOT longer than you, the proper response is either "thank you" or you STFU and research the topic yourself.

Well said good sir. Though I haven't been on the forums long member wise but I've been playing since beta. I've read the forums for info some helpful some just confusing. But I still see if that solution will work rather than say its dumb if it works yay if not try to find another way
