I have installed FTB direwolf20 1.6.4 1.0.23 version of the game. I just joined a server that is running 1.0.24, I didn't think that was possible.

My question is why is it possible for me to join the server that is running a newer version? Also can I install 1.0.25, the latest and join that 1.0.24 server or any server?
