Old thread, new suggestion! Install DartCraft, get Force Mitt, find Silverwood Tree(s), smash leaves with Force Mitt, have too many Silverwood Saplings to really have a use for, make most of them into Ethanol. Never live to regret it as they tend to not grow with new nodes in them anyway. Maybe if you grow enough to get the Mystic Forest biome, but who knows?

I think if you're willing to add dartcraft just to get a force mitt, you might as well just /give [self] silverwood saplings [64].
