Unknown character ' ' in '/saves/mapwriter_sp_worlds/New_XcX/mapwriter.cfg:1'
I'm not sure what is saved in that config, but it somehow saved wrong and is causing your world to crash. Backup your saves folder and configs folder. Then open the config and see what it saves. If you feel bold you can delete it, but keep your backup. I believe it is like the NEI.cfg in the saves folder, it saves the configs for the map mod you have. You will probably have to change the mod's configuration again if you changed it from default. Things like color or size of the text on the map or size and shape of the map itself; those types of changes. It might also save your waypoints so be careful if you do not remember them.
