Hey all,
Just wanted to see what you guys think of this idea. It's obviously borne out of my frustration, but I think it could benefit the community as a whole and new FTBers in particular.
Situation: As FTB features ever more modpacks, players who are new or simply not in-the-loop could use some pointers about the completeness and stability of modpacks.
Suggestion: Create a system of labels/flags to indicate the status of a listed modpack right in the launcher.
---
Backstory: I just came back to Minecraft after a year's hiatus and was happy to discover that FTB has bloomed with all sorts of new modpacks! I was a little less enthused to realise after a week of playing a modpack (Epiccraft) that it was totally abandoned and littered with bugs and lag. Only then did I look up their forum thread and discover that it was abandoned (had to scroll to last posts) and in beta. IMHO it is dishonest to version a beta as a 1.x release but that's obviously nothing to do with FTB.

E.g. Agrarian Skies [stable] | Regrowth [unstable] | Epiccraft [abandoned]
